Directions

Sun Splash Family Waterpark is easy to slide into. The park is located at 400 Santa Barbara Boulevard just 2.5 miles north of Veterans Parkway in Cape Coral, Florida.

If you’re traveling on I-75, you can get to the park one of two ways:

* Go west at Exit 143 (Bayshore Blvd / Rt 78) and follow into Cape Coral to Santa Barbara Blvd. Turn left (south) on Santa Barbara Blvd and Sun Splash will be ~1 mile on your right.

* Go west at Exit 136, cross the Midpoint Memorial Bridge into Cape Coral and follow to Santa Barbara Blvd. Turn right (north) on Santa Barbara Blvd. and Sun Splash will be 2.5 miles on your left.

SPLASH (8-12 yrs of age) – This is a water-based day camp for boys and girls.  Campers will enjoy the waterpark, water games, crafts, and lunch.  Bring a swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, tennis shoes and socks.  Lunch is included in the program cost.  Your child will return home Safe, Happy and Tired!.   (Min-5/Max-12)

JUNIOR LIFEGUARD (10-15 yrs of age) – This program is designed to enlighten participants to what being a lifeguard is all about.  Participants will learn about CPR, Basic First Aid, lifeguard rescue techniques and proper swimming techniques.  Uniforms and daily lunch is included with program cost. Community Safety Programs

Sun Splash has partnered with the American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) to offer a complete line of community based safety programs. These include Adult, Child and Infant CPR, Blood borne Pathogen Training, Emergency First Aid, and use of the Automated External Defibrillator (AED), among others.

Our professionally trained instructors have extensive experience in emergency care and can create a program to meet your specific needs. We also offer Lifeguard Training and Learn to Swim Instructor development training to non-employees.

Water Safety Awareness

Did You Know?

  • “Drowning is the 4th leading cause of accidental death in the US, Claiming 4, 000 lives annually.”(American Institute for Preventative Medicine)
  • “Of all preschoolers who drown, 70 percent are in the care of one or both parents at the time of drowning and 75% are missing from sight for five minutes or less.” (Orange County, CA, Fire Authority)

As a community service to help prevent such tragedies, Sun Splash Family Waterpark is offering three FREE water safety awareness clinics during the summer of 2016 from 9:00-9:30 a.m. on the following dates:

  • Saturday, May 6
  • Saturday, June 3
  • Saturday, July 1

This program was designed to teach drowning prevention and safety awareness around pools and other waterways to parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, siblings, cousins, babysitters and others who watch children. Upon successful completion of the clinic, each participant will receive $2 off up to four general admission tickets to enjoy the waterpark! For more information, call (239) 574-0558

Rules and Regulations

For your safety and convenience while visiting Sun Splash, please follow these rules:

  • Inner tubes and lounge chairs are available at no additional charge; however, supplies are limited. Guests are permitted to bring chairs into the park to ensure seating; however, Sun Splash is not responsible for lost or stolen articles.
  • Please obey safety rules at all times. No running, diving or horseplay is permitted in the park.
  • Children must be 13 years old or older to enter the park without an adult. Children 12 years old and younger must be accompanied by an adult 18 years old or older. Unescorted children will not be admitted into the park.
  • Minimum height requirement for some water rides is 48″ tall.
  • Only U.S. Coast Guard-approved personal flotation devices are permitted in the park.
  • Pregnant women, as well as persons with heart conditions, back or neck problems, casts or those who are under the influence of alcohol or drugs are not permitted to ride the slides. Riders should be in good health and good physical condition to participate in the attractions. Guests who are extremely overweight or in poor physical condition are subject to increased risk of injury and should not ride the slides.
  • No coolers or outside food or beverages are permitted inside the park.
  • Weapons and alcoholic beverages are not permitted on Sun Splash Family Waterpark property.
  • Sun Splash is not responsible for lost or stolen articles.
  • Hand stamps are required for re-entry into the park and are available at the front gate.
  • Appropriate swimwear is required.
    • No Thongs
    • No G-Strings
    • No Denim Shorts
    • No Hard Material (Belt Buckles, Hard Cast, etc.)

Safety

Your safety is our top priority at Sun Splash Family Waterpark. Sun Splash has earned the prestigious 5-star rating from Starfish Aquatics Institute (SAI), an independent auditor of aquatic facilities, every year since the rating system began. A 5-star rating is the highest rating an aquatic facility can receive for aquatic safety and lifeguard performance. The park is fully staffed with SAI certified lifeguards.

Life vests are available in a variety of sizes at no charge. We strongly recommend all guests 48″ tall or under or who are weak or non-swimmers wear a U.S. Coast Guard approved flotation device. We insist that parents keep their children within arm’s reach for their close supervision on all water activities. The use of your own personal flotation device(s) is subject to lifeguard approval.

Proper swimwear must be worn at all times on rides and attractions. No street clothes and no bathing attire with buckles, belts, rivets, metal or cut-off jeans are permitted.

For guest safety, no snorkels or swim fins please. Swim goggles are allowed.

There are four First Aid stations located throughout the park for easy access.

Weather Policy

Florida’s weather changes by the hour.  Rides and attractions may temporarily close during severe weather conditions. Once weather conditions have improved, the rides and attractions will reopen. Rain checks will be available if all attractions have not re-opened 45 consecutive minutes after the manager on duty makes the public address announcement to clear the pools. After 45 minutes, guests may use their same-day ticket stub as the rain check ticket to visit the park at a different date during the current season.  Guest must have been in the park for less than 3 hours to be eligible for a rain check. No refunds are issued regardless of the time spent in the park.

After 60 minutes, depending on the weather, the facility may close for the remainder of the day.

Only paid admission stubs at regular general admission rates will receive a rain check. Complimentary, discounted, After 5pm admission, and rain check tickets from prior visits do not qualify for a rain check. No rain checks are issued for season pass holders.

Guest must have been in the park for less than 3 hours to receive a rain check. No refunds are issued regardless of the time spent in the park.

Parking fee and locker fees will not be refunded.

All rain checks will expire at the end of the season, September 24, 2017, and may be used any time prior to that date.

Once the attractions reopen following a temporary closure due to weather, rain checks will no longer be valid.

Food

Sun Splash has a variety of food, snacks and treats to help keep you refreshed and recharged from the sun, fun and excitement.

The Calypso Café, Tiki Express, Dippin Dots Stand and Ice Cream Shop serve a wide variety of combo meals, snacks and fast foods including hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, pizza, salad, Italian ice, ice cream, shakes, funnel fries and more! An assortment of ice-cold beverages are also available to keep you hydrated and on the go.

Refresh yourself all season long by purchasing a 2016 Sun Splash Souvenir Mug. With the purchase of this special mug, you will receive unlimited .99 cent refills during the 2016 season.

If you are looking for value and convenience, purchase a Sun Splash Super Snack Card for only $25 plus tax and redeem it for your choice of 10 food/beverage items for up to $11 in savings. Sun Splash Family Waterpark also offers meal and buffet options for catered group events.

No outside food or beverages are allowed inside Sun Splash with the exception of a birthday cake if your birthday party is booked through Sun Splash.

Lockers

A one-time locker fee provides you with a full day’s worth of unlimited access.

  • Small Locker: $11   ($6 rental fee + $5 refundable key deposit)
  • Large Locker: $13   ($8 rental fee + $5 refundable key deposit)

Visit the Gift Shop inside the main gate to rent a large or small locker for the day. Upon same day return of the locker key, park guest will be refunded their $5 key deposit.

The Treasure Trove Gift Shop, located near the front entrance, has all of your waterpark needs including swim trunks, t-shirts, towels, suntan products, sunglasses, hats, aqua socks and souvenirs. You’re sure to find fun-in-the-sun supplies, toys, gifts and the perfect must-have souvenir to remember your day at Sun Splash.

In front of the Treasure Trove Gift Shop, you can also purchase a variety of fun temporary waterproof glitter tattoos.

Luxury Lounger

Want to make sure you get that perfect shade lounge chair but don’t want to fight the crowds? Reserve one of our Luxury Loungers, located throughout the park. Amenities include:

  • Two lounge chairs
  • Both loungers located under large shade umbrella

Luxury Loungers can be reserved during general operating hours and do not include park admission. Each reservation confirmation states that the Luxury Lounger is reserved from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Luxury Lounger umbrellas may be taken down during inclement weather, including high winds.

Yes, there is a retail/gift shop in the park. Towels, swim trunks, flip flops, goggles, suntan lotion and other items are available for purchase in the Treasure Trove Gift Shop.

Are lockers available for rent? How much are they?

Yes, small and large lockers are available to rent. Click the Lockers and Parking tab at the left of this page for information.

Does Sun Splash supply life vests?

Yes, life vests are provided at no additional charge and are required for non-swimmers and small children at the direction of the Lifeguards. Personal life vests must be U.S. Coast Guard approved and in good condition. Water wings, floatation seats or bubble packs may not be used. Life vests are strongly recommended for guests under 48” or who are non-swimmers and/or weak swimmers.

Can I bring food and drinks into Sun Splash?

Food, beverages and coolers may not be brought inside the park but they can be left in your car in the parking lot. One bottle of water is permitted per guest to bring into the park. Birthday cakes can be brought into the park if a birthday party package has been booked through Sun Splash for that day. Glass bottles and/or alcoholic beverages are not permitted anywhere on park grounds.

Are food and drinks available for purchase at Sun Splash?

Yes, Sun Splash features made to order meals and snack bar areas serving hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken, sandwich wraps, salads, pizza, beverages, ice cream, candy and more.

Can I leave the park and re-enter throughout the day?

Yes, all park guests leaving the park and planning to return later that day are required to get a hand stamp prior to leaving the park.

Is there a dress code for the park?

Only swimsuits are allowed on the water attractions. No swimsuits with buckles, rivets, or any sharp objects, no denim, corduroy or cutoffs allowed. Shirts are not permitted on the body slides. Thong swimsuits are not permitted. Shirts with profanity are not permitted.

Are swim masks, goggles, snorkels and swim fins permitted?

Swim goggles are allowed and are available for purchase at the Treasure Trove Gift Shop near the front entrance. For guest safety, no snorkels or swim fins are permitted.

Are swim diapers allowed?

Swim diapers must be worn by babies / toddlers not yet potty trained. Swim diapers are available at the Treasure Trove Gift Shop near the front entrance.

Is there a Military Discount?

Sun Splash is proud to assist our military families with a free one-day admission for active or retired military, disabled veterans, and military reservists with ID or contract on select dates and a $3 discount is available for up to 4 family members accompanying military personnel with an active ID or contract. This offer is valid during the 2017 season on Armed Forces Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day. Please see Events & Offers for the exact dates.

Do you offer a AAA Discount?

We do not offer AAA discounts at Sun Splash Family Waterpark.

What if there is bad weather on the day of my visit?

If adverse weather conditions significantly affect park operations and your visit is shortened by the severe weather conditions, you can request a Rain Check. Click the Weather Policy tab at the left of this page for details. Rain Checks are distributed at the Front Gate and are valid until the end of the season. Rain Checks are not available for Season Pass holders or on comp tickets.

Is the water heated?

No, the water is not heated.

Can I bring in my own tube?

Tubes are provided to park guests at no additional costs and are available on a first come first serve basis for the river and tube slides. No personal tubes, noodles or floats are allowed in the park including children’s “water wings,” “floatation seats,” “inflatable rings,” or “bubble packs.”

Is footwear allowed on the rides?

Footwear such as sandals or aqua socks are permitted in tubes and on tube rides. Footwear of any kind can NOT be worn down body slides because the shoes or sandals act like brakes; however, you may carry footwear down in your hands with arms crossed over your chest when riding slides.

Can glasses, sunglasses and hats be worn down the slides?

Hats or glasses are not allowed on slides; however, you may hold on to them in your hand with your arms crossed when going down slides.

If I am not going to ride, do I still have to pay to enter the park?

Yes, a daily admission fee or season pass is required of all park guests prior to entry as park capacity is limited.

Are pets allowed?

Pets are not permitted. Sun Splash welcomes service animals on a leash or harness, but service animals are not permitted to be in the water or on the attractions.
